Ear Plucking
Some of the more hairy breeds of dogs such as poodles, schnauzers and bichons can sometimes require ear plucking. This is performed because it it believed that removing excess hair from the ear can help with maintaining good ear health, helping to keep the ears open, clean and dry. When excess hair is removed, there is better air circulation and it is easier to keep the ear clean.
Not all dogs need or will tolerate ear plucking so please get in touch if you have queries regarding this. Ear Plucking can be added to a full groom appointment so please mention if it is something you’d like when booking your dog in.
